Member Site Visits

Note: Only available for international attendees.

Thanks for joining us in North Carolina! These site visits are an exclusive option for attendees coming from outside the US, and you can register for them during your event sign-up.

We’ve lined up some amazing printers and converters who are opening their doors for you. Take a look at the list below:

  1. Salem One — A single site running offset, digital, and wide format side by side, feeding packaging, signage, and direct mail all in one place. 21.7 km / 13.5 mi from the convention center (about 25–30 min drive)
  2. Shutterfly — One of the biggest names in personalized products, with a manufacturing scale that reaches customers in over 100 countries. 22.9 km / 14.3 mi from the convention center (about 20–25 min drive)
  3. The Imagine Group — Print, POP, and in-store execution working as one connected system, right in Charlotte. 11.9 km / 7.4 mi from the convention center (about 15–20 min drive)

If your travel plans allow you to visit more than two sites, please secure two during registration, then reach out to Juliana Pivoto, Americas Community Success Manager, to explore the possibility of booking additional visits.

How to register for a site visit:

Review the list below, note your preferred site(s), dates, and times, then click the link to pre-register. During registration, you’ll select your site visits. Before the conference, you’ll receive more details about your visit, including a local contact person.

All three are close to the conference venue, making it easy to fit into your schedule. A few important things to keep in mind:
  • We don't provide transportation to or from any of these sites. You'll need to arrange your own way there and back.
  • Add your visit to your calendar as soon as you register. These are easy to forget in the middle of a busy conference week.
  • Tours start exactly at the scheduled time — not before, not after. Please plan accordingly.
These companies are opening their doors to us as a courtesy. Come curious, come on time, and treat the visit as the privilege it is — that's what keeps this opportunity alive for future Edge events too.

Some sites have rules that all visitors must follow, and you may be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon arrival.

Shutterfly

See Personalization at Scale

Shutterfly isn't just a photo book company anymore — it's a full family of brands (Shutterfly, Snapfish, Spoonflower, Lifetouch, Shutterfly Business Solutions) built entirely around turning personal moments into physical products, millions of times over. Every photo book, card, and print you've ever seen a friend post about? There's a real shot it came off a Shutterfly line.

This is a rare look inside one of the most recognized personalization brands in the US — a name most of your customers already know, even if they've never thought about what it takes to produce at this volume.

Getting behind those doors isn't something that happens twice. You'll see how scale, personalization, and consistency come together in one operation.

The Imagine Group

Print Meets In-Store Marketing

The Imagine Group goes past the press — this is a shop that manages the full chain from creative concept through kitting, logistics, and fulfillment, then follows it all the way to how a product performs on a retail shelf. Their model is built around being a single point of responsibility for clients: wide format, multiple large-press offset lines, and full finishing and mailing services, all under one roof.

For members curious how much a single operation can consolidate — without losing control of quality — this is a strong one to walk, and a local look at how it's done for some of the country's biggest consumer brands.
